Tween 20 is a hydrophilic emulsifier used to emulsify essential oils for DIY lotions and as a refreshing makeup remover. Tween is a common cleansing oil emulsifier, usually divided into Tween 20 and Tween 80. The higher the number, the more lipophilic it is.
